Back when we were in High School, my friend and I used to attend every end of year school trip that ever took place. Those trips were usually held at amusement and water parks. At the time we never used to get much attention. Some of the older guys however, used to get every body’s attention. The reason for that was quite simple. Those guys were in great physical shape. They worked out all year long just so they can come and show off their body. I thought that was just amazing.
My first time at the gym
After I graduated from High School, some of my friends and I decided that we wanted to join a local gym. We joined the gym and started working out. We started seeing some noticeable results after about 2.5 months of working out. After a year or so, some of them just stopped exercising because of all the discipline and dedication this process requires. By process I mean, the type of food we needed to eat, type of exercise we needed to do, and last but not least the types and the amount of supplements (protein, creatin, etc) had to intake.
Don’t the meaning of the word quit
I did not quit because even though I did not have the body I wanted yet, I knew by follow the proper regiment without starving myself, I would eventually get it. I started reading different exercise magazines to teach myself how to achieve my goal. At one point, I thought about quitting like some of my friends because of the strict diet regiment that I’ve read in all those magazines. I stopped working out for about a month, and then I went back because my body felt and look different.
Wash your mouth out with soap
Based on my personal experience, I erased the word diet out of my vocabulary like it was a curse word. I now call it eating clean. Many people like you and I, who are concerned about their health and how they look have the tendency to go about it the wrong way. DON’T DIET, EAT CLEAN.
So what’s the solution?
Some of you are probably wondering what exactly do I mean by eating clean. Well let me briefly explain: First let me start by saying that I love to eat. I eat about five times through out the day. For example, my typical breakfast consists of: 4 egg whites, 1 turkey patty, 2 slices of whole grain breads, 1 banana, and 1 glass of pure squeeze orange juice.
