The best thing on earth to drink..
Growing up in the Caribbean, I?ve always enjoyed coconut water. Since I was a kid, I?ve always been involved in intense activities like playing soccer with friends almost everyday. For a while every time we finish playing, we used to go and get coconuts from trees since we couldn’t afford sodas and juices. Needless to say, we had absolutely no idea how nutritious coconut water really was. As we grew older, with a little bit of money in our pockets, we were able to buy those drinks that we couldn’t afford back then as we thought they were much better for us since everybody else was drinking them.
Coconut water. Pure and simple..
I stopped drinking coconut water for a long time until last year while I was away in Mexico with my wife, she was telling me I should be drinking coconut water instead of all of the sports drinks I’ve been drinking after my daily workout. She proceeded to explain to me in details the reasons I should switch to coconut water. When we got back from vacation, I went online and did some research and just couldn’t believe all of the information I got. I found out that coconut water has more potassium than a banana and 15 times more than some sports drinks and juices. It has zero fat, no added sugar, no cholesterol, fifteen carbs and only sixty calories. It has five essentials electrolytes- Potassium, Sodium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorous that your body needs to keep muscles moving and manage stress. Now, go ahead and read the nutrition facts on your drinks and juices at home. lol..
Just Great..
Since I was looking for a natural hydrant without the sugar spike, I can honestly say I’ve found it. I was able to get a couple of brands and different flavors through Amazon. I’ve tried almost all of them but personally, I prefer the plain one because it tastes like it?s from fresh coconut. This stuff has quickly taken the place of everything else I used to drink. If you workout pretty intensely, it’s an amazing rehydrant.
